Tell us about yourself?

I’m 38 this year and passionately running my business in Singapore since 2007. I always wanted to do something satisfying in my life and create a platform where I can serve people with my best strategic skills. I started my printing and designing company and now successfully helping businesses and fulfilling their marketing collateral needs. I would love to spend time with my family and kid Elliot Kua. They are my strength and biggest motivation.

How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

When I was in studying in Temasek Polytechnic Design School, I’ve always had the drive to want to run my own design & printing company to Service Company. Initially, It was difficult at first but then I take my first step towards entrepreneurship. God gives me strength and my family boosted my moral that I can do it. I always think people need branding and printing services when they wanted to grow.

How much potential market share can you achieve in next 3 years?

I am more focused on quality service rather running for any numbers. Even if I have one customer who is satisfied, I am happy! But definitely, I will not settle for less so aiming to capture 5% market share in Singapore.

What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read?

One of the best book series I have ever read is Harry Potter.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

One of the best purchases of mine was my house because it’s totally worthy to have a land and safe roof. And the worst purchase is my car.

What takes up too much of your time?

One word “Business”. Most of my times spent in meeting clients, creating opportunity and balancing life and work.

What three pieces of advice would you give to college students/new startup business owners who want to become entrepreneurs?

#1. The path down the business world is not simple. It is filled with hard work and you must put in effort and sacrifice time and many other aspects of your life before the fruits of labor are due.

#2. Give Up, Just do it!

#3. There is no FREE LUNCH IN THIS WORLD, you have to work hard to succeed.

Who has impressed you most with what they’ve accomplished?

There are many inspirations in my life but what I believe the most impressed one is Steve Jobs. He did marvelous work in his life and gave a completely new approach to the business concept in the world.
