Houston-based music executive and founder of Rap-A-Lot Records, J Prince, has responded to rumors circulating on social media that he was arrested for threatening Migos member Offset.
The baseless allegations arose amid an ongoing feud between the two men following the tragic death of Takeoff, another member of the popular rap group.
Offset dismissed the rumors, labeling them as “cap ass s###” in an Instagram comment. The rumors were reportedly started by music executive Wack100, who later denied having any involvement in spreading the false information.
J Prince, who is respected in the music industry, has been involved in various high-profile feuds over the years, but he has denied any involvement in the ongoing dispute between Offset and the Migos. In a recent video posted on his Instagram page, J Prince can be seen sitting by a pool on the West Coast, laughing off the rumors and joking about his “jail cell.”
“People are telling lies for a living. They actually lying to y’all for living,” J Prince said, criticizing the prevalence of fake news. “But as you can see, live and in living color, this is what my jail cell look like…They can keep me here 24/7. I’m good! But it’s a beautiful day.”

The feud between J Prince and Offset began after Takeoff’s untimely passing. The rapper was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley in November 2022, with police later arresting a man named Patrick Clark for his murder in December 2022.
As of now, there is no evidence to support the rumors of J Prince’s arrest or any threat he may have made against Offset.
