Elon Musk the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla is all set to become the world’s second richest man of the world who is just about to take over the position of Bill Gates in the list while surpassing the billionaire Facebook renowned owner Mark Zuckerberg.
The past few days have been eventful for Elon Musk, where on the other side he was unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. On Saturday, Musk tweeted that he “most likely” had a moderate case of Covid-19 and has had symptoms of “a minor cold.” Sunday he tweeted he had no symptoms.
Later on that day, his rocket company The SpaceX has launched four astronauts into International Space Station in a vehicle built by Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corp. On Monday, his electric carmaker Tesla Inc. was named for inclusion in the S&P 500 Index.
After the launch of four astronauts, it added fuel to Elon’s luck and he is now poised to become the world’s second-richest person, leapfrogging Mark Zuckerberg, and just some billions away taking over another billionaire Bill gates, after his net worth soared in extended trading, $90 billion this year, which is the biggest gain on the ranking of the world’s 500 richest people. Hopefully, his company Tesla would be the biggest new entrant in the group’s history.
Its been a head-to-toe competition between both of these billionaires but according to reports, presently Elon Musk is officially richer than the owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg after his company Tesla.Inc’s addition to the S&P 500 sends its stock price soaring, which also made him the world’s first Trillionaire.
