Gannon Stauch autopsy photo revealed new details about his horrific murder. The case of the 11-year-old boy who went missing back in January 2020 is finally coming to an end three years later.

Primary investigation revealed Stauch’s stepmother, Letecia Stauch, to be the chief suspect in his disappearance and subsequent murder.

The cold-hearted woman stabbed the minor eighteen times and then shot him with a rifle to take away whatever life was left in him.

Letecia, the prime suspect in 11-year-old Stauch’s murder, tried her best not to leave any loose ends. She stuffed the victim’s lifeless body into a suitcase in an attempt to get rid of it.

Fortunately for the victim’s family, Letecia’s half-brother saw her lugging the suitcase that had Stauch’s body inside of it while she was shifting her home.

It is not known if he was the one who reported Letecia to the authorities.

What did Gannon Stauch autopsy photo reveal?

Gannon Stauch autopsy photo became a piece of concrete evidence in his murder trial. Dr. Susan Ignacio performed Stauch’s autopsy.

The doctor was called as a witness in Stauch’s murder trial. In her statement, she revealed that at the time of the autopsy, the victim’s body was completely decomposed, some of his bones were visible, and he was wearing the clothes that he was killed in.

The autopsy doctor and the authorities collectively ruled homicide to be Gannon Stauch’s cause of death.

Dr. Susan added that the victim had blunt force injuries to his head, and a hole in his jaw predicted that he had been shot in the face.

A toxicology test performed alongside the autopsy found Acetaminophen (a pain reliever) and Hydrocodone (an opioid) in Gannon’s system.

Even though the drugs did not become the victim’s cause of death, still they give a glimpse of the torture that Gannon was subjected to right before his grisly murder.

Unlike Acetaminophen, Hydrocodone is not an over-the-counter medicine so the medical examiner deemed its presence in the victim’s body unusual.

Upon questioning, the authorities figured that Gannon’s father, Al Stauch had been taking Hydrocodone after a doctor prescribed it to him.

However, Al said that he never gave the medicine to Gannon and only he and Letecia knew about the medicine’s location at home.
