Jozef Puska wife, Linda De Mol, was also detained concerning the murder of an Irish teacher named Ashling Murphy.

Jozef Puska is a person of interest in the death of Ashling Murphy on January 12 and the subsequent accident at Cappincur in Tullamore. 

On the Wednesday before last, one of the school teachers was fatally attacked while driving along the Grand Canal in Tullamore, Offaly; the guy was caught and charged with murder in a special court session.

And the warning he was given. After being held at Tullamore Garda Station, the suspect was asked if he had any comments. He responded, “No.” 

This case has resulted in his incarceration at Cloverhill Prison for the upcoming week. No information other than her name, Linda de Mol, has been made public regarding the woman who killed Jozef Puska wife.

CCTV footage from Tullamore, Ireland, shows a man riding a mountain bike. And Joseph is the prime suspect in the recent murder of a schoolteacher called Aisling Murphy. 

Ailing Murphy, a 23-year-old teacher, was killed while walking along the Grand Canal. 

In County Offaly, Tullamore is where she was killed while on a Grand Canal hiking trip.

Jozef Puska, the man suspected of killing Ashling Murphy, is not Romanian; he is originally from Lynally Grove, a neighbourhood in Mucklagh, Co. Offaly, around 5 km from Tullamore. 

He was dressed in a grey tracksuit, and a Romanian called Radu Floricel was also arrested in connection with the homicide probe. 


In two weeks, Jozef Puska will stand trial at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of schoolteacher Ashling Murphy, 23.

On January 12, 2022, Mr Puska, 32, of Lynally Grove, Mucklagh, Co. Offaly, was arrested on suspicion of murdering Ms Murphy, also of Co. Offaly. 

Jozef Puska court case was scheduled to start today.

The trial will be presided over by Mr Justice Tony Hunt and will last around four weeks, according to Michael Bowman SC, defending Mr Puska.

After finishing her education at Limerick’s Mary Immaculate College, Ashling Murphy found work as a teacher at Durrow National School. 

The suspected murder occurred as she jogged along the Grand Canal outside Tullamore.
