Julio Urias Video Of Being Arrested for Suspected Domestic Violence

Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias Video shows that he has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Is it true?

The incident occurred late Sunday night in Los Angeles, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hoover Street.

Urias was arrested by Exposition Park Police, a state police department that patrols the Exposition Park area, which includes the Coliseum, BMO Stadium, the California Science Center and Natural History Museum.

Urias is among a long list of professional athletes who have been involved in domestic violence controversies.

The Dodgers pitcher was suspended 20 games in 2019 for violating Major League Baseball’s domestic violence policy.

He had been arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery in connection with a May 13 incident at the Beverly Center, where he allegedly shoved a woman to the ground during an argument. No charges were filed at the time, but MLB opted to issue a suspension.

Details of the recent incident involving Urias have not been released, but the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that he was booked into an LAPD jail facility and later released on $50,000 bond.

Dodgers React to Urias’ Arrest

In light of the latest incident involving Urias, the Dodgers have released a statement on the matter.

“We are aware of an incident involving Julio Urías,” the statement read. “While we attempt to learn all the facts, he will not be traveling with the team. The organization has no further comment at this time.”

The Dodgers have not clarified whether or not Urias will be suspended following this latest incident.

However, it is worth noting that MLB’s domestic violence policy allows the commissioner’s office to conduct its own investigation separate from any police investigation.

The commissioner’s office can then hand out its own suspension, even in cases where no charges have been filed.

Urias’ Career Stats

Julio Urias has been with the Dodgers since 2016, having started his MLB career with the team. He has a lifetime record of 60-25 with a 3.11 ERA. This season, Urias is 11-8 with a 4.60 ERA.

Urias’ Future with MLB Remains Uncertain

While it remains to be seen what the future holds for Julio Urias’ career with the Dodgers and in the MLB as a whole, many have pointed out that incidents of domestic violence among professional athletes are all too common.

In recent years, several high-profile athletes have been accused of domestic violence, including NFL players Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, and Kareem Hunt.

The prevalence of such incidents has raised concerns about how sports leagues should handle situations like these.

The MLB, for its part, has implemented a strict domestic violence policy in which players can be suspended purely on the basis of an investigation.

However, there are still concerns about how effective these policies are in preventing domestic violence and whether players who commit such crimes are held accountable.

As Julio Urias’ arrest underscores, incidents of domestic violence among professional athletes continue to be a serious issue that sports leagues must reckon with.

As fans and observers of the game, it is our responsibility to hold players and organizations accountable for their actions, and to demand that they take meaningful steps towards prevention and accountability.
