Kirstie Jane Bennard Escaped Unharmed From Tennessee Incident

According to police, Kirstie Jane Bennard, 30, and her husband Colby Bennard, 30, were both critically injured in the attack, but their mother escaped unharmed.

One Tennessee family’s Wednesday afternoon turned into a nightmare as a mother battled to keep her two babies away from their pet pit bulls.

Five-month-old Hollace Dean Bennard and two-year-old Lilly Jane Bennard died from the attack Wednesday at their Millington home.

There is no clear explanation for what caused the dogs to attack. What is the point of publicizing something so horrific and unimaginable?,” Kelsey Gallini, Bennard’s best friend, wrote on Facebook, criticizing the media coverage of the tragedy. “Just to stir the pot on the war on Pitbulls? You’re disgusting.”

Is there a reason why the attacks occurred?

As Colby was chatting with Kirstie eight years ago, he posted a picture of two pit bulls on Facebook, calling them “house lions”.

Around 3.30 pm on Wednesday, a violent attack occurred inside the family’s $360,000 home on Sylvan Road in Millington, Tennessee – just outside of Memphis.

There is no clear explanation as to why pit bulls became aggressive.

Sheriff’s Office officials declined to comment further on the investigation into the attack.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed to Daily Mail that the animals are under the control of Animal Control in Shelby County.

In the meantime, it’s unclear whether criminal charges will be filed, according to authorities.

Kelsey Gallini, a friend of Kirstie Jane Bennard, expressed her fury over the media coverage, asking why ‘something so devastating and unimaginable’ was publicly disclosed.
