Mac Miller Autopsy Revealed The Truth Behind His Death

Known to many as Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend but also a renowned rapper in his own right, the 26-year-old Miller was discovered dead by his assistant on September 7, 2018.

Two days prior to Mac Miller’s overdose death, a Los Angeles man was detained on suspicion of selling the rapper fake opioid tablets.

Miller allegedly asked him for oxycodone and other drugs on September 5, 2018. Still, Pettit provided Miller with fake oxycodone pills loaded with the potent opioid fentanyl, according to a Drug Enforcement Agency document that was made public after Cameron James Pettit’s arrest.

Pettit, a 28-year-old resident of the Hollywood Hills, showed up in court but did not make a statement.

He was given a public defender by the judge, who also mandated that he be kept without bail.

The musician, who was candid about his battles with addiction, was last seen by his assistant on September 6, 2018, at around 22:30.

The following morning, the same assistant discovered him dead in his bedroom. Paramedics proclaimed him over there and then.

Mac Miller Autopsy Results

Mac Miller’s autopsy result showed the cause of his demise. According to an autopsy report, Miller overdosed on fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.

At the time of his passing, Miller, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, was 26 years old.

In Miller’s residence, authorities discovered pills they think Pettit supplied as well as evidence that Miller had crushed and sniffed Pettit’s oxycodone.

However, Pettit has only been accused of delivering the narcotics and not of playing a direct part in Miller’s demise.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he had legal representation, and Pettit’s relatives or friends couldn’t be reached for comment.
