A Victorious Player, Minjee Lee Won Women’s Open At Age 26

Minjee Lee, a Professional golfer, has won the US Women’s Open in a recent tournament in Australia. She is “on the path to greatness” after winning at the Women’s Open.

As per the report, the success of  Minjee Lee, her brother -Min Woo, was in tears, and he felt proud the moment he saw his sister winning the competition.

According to ABC broadcaster: “Minjee Lee’s ruthless US Women’s Open victory proves this ‘kid from Perth’ is on the path to golf greatness.” 

The news further said: “Her performance in the final round… at Pine Needles must rank among the greatest in Australian golf history, Lee was brilliant in establishing her 54-hole lead, but the mental strength and physical skill required to close out the victory as she did is hard to quantify.”

Minjee Lee is from South Korea, and both of her parents are from the same land. In a recent tournament,  she captured her eighth LPGA title by resisting the American Mina Harigae, who claimed a record of USD 1.8 million in top prizes from a US Dollar 10 million purse. She is the wealthiest woman in golf history.

In addition, Lee’s brother Min Woo also has a huge name in golf and is known as a professional and remarkable golf player.

Min Woo has been playing for many years, and now, he has toured many European countries for the tournament; until now, he has been honored with two awards.

He posted a picture along with his younger sister and called her while she was busy at the award ceremony; he tweeted: “This one hits hard. Tears in my eyes, So so proud. Just a kid from Perth. Two major wins to her name now.”

On the other hand, The Sydney Daily also lauded Minjee Lee and said: “one of Australia’s biggest sports stars.”

Minjee Lee’s spectacular win in the United States Open should ensure her recognition level in Australia surges to a level appropriate for her exceptional performances.”

That fact is that after achieving a great victory, Lee was praised worldwide. Fans shared her picture with the trophy and wished her good luck ahead for her upcoming tournaments.

The West Australian expressed:  “Australia’s all-time golf greats.”

Besides Minjee Lee, the other two Australian golf players – Karrie Webb (twice) and Jan Stephenson – have won the US Women’s Open.
