The Police have claimed that the missing Schenectady girl Hajile Howard from Schenectady was found on Friday.
The girl is safe, and there are no signs of any physical contact or torture. No further information was given regarding the news of the 14-year-old girl’s discovery.
The Police closed the case by thanking everyone who helped find the missing girl. The department posted on Facebook, “We want to thank the public for their tremendous support in this case.”
The request for help was made to the public by Police on November 30 to find the 14-year-old girl. It was believed that there was no foul play involved in the case.
The girl was initially reported missing on November 9. Police got in contact with Hajile a few days later through a third party but weren’t able to locate her.
A few days later, another girl named Samantha Humphrey went missing from Schenectady. She was the same age as Hajile.
After investigation, Police found out that the two girls, Hajile and Samantha, were friends, but no prominent evidence was found that could explain any link between the two missing cases.
The 14-year-old girl Samantha was last seen near Riverside park on November 25, 2022. The Police did intensive searches in Stockade around Mohawk river, but the girl remains missing to this date.
