Struggles She Went Through After Her Parents Divorced

Pattie Was Abused S*xually As A Child & a Teen
Mallette showed a talent for singing and acting as a young child. She started making appearances on regional television shows at the age of nine, including Romper Room and the locally broadcast children’s talent competition Big Top Talent.
When she was ten years old, she was given roles in two plays as part of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, which annually draws more than 500,000 visitors. She participated in seven years of dance as well as every theater and choral program offered during middle and high school.
She was signed to a Toronto-based entertainment agency after winning multiple accolades and awards for her singing and acting. Mallette was upset when her parents were unable to make the commitment to drive her 1.5 hours to Toronto every weekend for auditions.
She started abusing drugs at the age of 14, including alcohol, marijuana, and LSD. Additionally, she began shoplifting. She was expelled from school after setting fire to school property in a restroom.
She started dating Jeremy Bieber when she was 15 years old, and they were together for four years. When she was 16 years old, she ran away and supported herself by stealing little items and trafficking drugs. She had feelings of isolation, depression, and suicidal thoughts at this time.
