His unique style, dynamic performances, and powerful voice made him an international icon and cemented his place in history as one of the greatest musicians of all time.

Priscilla Presley, who was once married to the legendary singer Elvis Presley, was his partner for six years. They tied the knot in 1967 and had a daughter named Lisa Marie Presley, who was born nine months after their wedding.

However, prior to her marriage to Elvis, Priscilla was married to Marco Garibaldi and has a son with him named Navarone Garibaldi

Unfortunately, it was reported that Priscilla and Elvis’ only child, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away on January 12th, 2023.

The 77-year-old, Priscilla Presley said in a statement to People, ‘It is with a sad heart that I deliver the devastating news that my beloved daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met. We request privacy as we work to process this tragic loss. Thank you for your prayers and kindness. No other comments will be made at this time.’

Who was Priscilla Presley’s Ex-husband, Elvis?

Elvis Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935. Elvis Presley was an actor in addition to being a singer and a performer from the United States.

He is referred to as the “King of Rock and Roll” and is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century.

He is one of the best-selling solo artists in the music industry. He has enjoyed commercial success across various genres, including pop, blues, and gospel.

Presley is the only musician to have been honored by induction into all six musical Halls of Fame: Rock and Roll, Rockabilly, Country, Blues, Gospel, and, as of 2015, the R&B Music Hall of Fame.

The singer remained at Graceland until he was discovered dead on the grounds on August 16, 1977, at the age of only 42.

Exploring Priscilla and Elvis Presley’s Relationship

Elvis first met Priscilla in 1959 while he was serving in the army abroad in Germany.

Priscilla and he first connected at a friend’s house party. The singer fell in love with her right away, and they practically lived together for the duration of his time in Germany.

The couple moved in together later at Elvis’s Memphis estate, Graceland.

Elvis proposed to Priscilla right before Christmas 1966 after years of residing at Graceland, maintaining the turbulent rockstar lifestyle, and stoking rumors of affairs with Hollywood leading ladies.

In May 1967, Elvis, 32, and Priscilla, 22, exchanged vows in Las Vegas.

Although the couple’s marriage appeared to be going well in the eyes of the public, Priscilla and Lisa were left at Graceland by themselves as Elvis’ fame reached new heights.

Things worsen between the couple. The two got divorced in 1973 after many rumors of indiscretions with his co-stars.

After eight years of marriage, Priscilla and Elvis stayed close and even held each other as they exited the courthouse after their divorce.

Priscilla remained a significant figure in Elvis’ life despite their divorce. He, too, supported Priscilla’s professional endeavors.

After the death of Priscilla Presley’s ex-husband, Priscilla announced that their home, Graceland, would be transformed into a public memorial museum for the late singer.

She was handed charge of Elvis Presley Enterprises and has since worked to protect the singer’s legacy, including the 2022 biopic Elvis.
