Tell us about yourself?
I started my career in Sales, then quickly into management and into leadership. I enjoy people. I love the dynamic chemistry in business and personal relationships. There is an art to knowing how to cultivate the right connections for potential high-value alliances. Relationship building is in my DNA, truly. For as long as I can remember I’ve been a connector. Yes, even as a kid! It’s fun, exciting, and completely natural for me. After years of making strategic connections for others, effortlessly, I realized making the right connections is not intuitive for everyone. So, recently I turned my unique ability to problem solve into a business.
What makes your organization different than your competitors?
I can manage relationships end-to-end, from prospecting and introduction to engagement and nurturing, to consideration and conversion. Unlike social media, digital, and programmatic networking platforms, I focus on the authentic, human interactions that create business value.
How much potential market share can you achieve in the next 3 years?
I expect to impact hundreds of entrepreneurs while providing scalable business models through strategic connections.
What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read?
Outliers – Malcolm Gladwell – it reframes your thinking on how success is achieved.
What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?
Best – Nutri-Bullet and Instapot! I use both daily!
Worst – A lemon Passat wagon with a bad engine, that I returned 3 days later and got my money back!
What takes up too much of your time?
Late night Netflix binging!
What three pieces of advice would you give to college students/new startup business owners who want to become entrepreneurs?
Surround yourself with people smarter than you. Never burn bridges, Just because you can say something doesn’t mean you should.
Who has impressed you most with what they’ve accomplished?
Sarah Blakely! I love her story, impressed with her vision to help women around the world with intimate apparel that would change the way we feel about wearing white jeans with NO panty lines! What’s most impressive is her amazing ability to build a billion dollar empire, drive 4 kids to school, manage a healthy marriage, laugh at herself and inspires millions daily. Still, think the mom and family stuff is the most Boss!
Tell us about something you are proud of – about your greatest challenge.
Deciding to go back to college after my two kids were in High School while maintaining a demanding career, and 3 years later started my first business while still in school. A great mentor of mine told me that you don’t know what you can handle until you’re handling it. She was right.
