Local Police have reported the abhorrent detainment of Roscoe Roy Jr., a Pennsylvania resident, who committed heinous violent crimes against a 10-year-old girl.
He was arrested after being accused of strangulation, intolerable aggravated indecent assault on the child, and rape.
Furthermore, it was determined that alongside these manifestly terrible offenses, he had also exposed himself indecently and acted with violence towards her in what could be described as an assault misdemeanor.
Therefore, this horrendous case has been addressed by authorities, and justice is now set to be served.
After the child informed a child advocate organization about the s*xual and physical abuse, police opened an investigation into Roy in May 2019, according to Fox News.
The alleged abuse took place at Roy’s Mechanicsburg residence in 2018 and 2019. According to PennLive, Roy most recently resided in the nearby Harrisburg region, but police now describe him as being homeless.
According to court documents, the girl claimed she would sleep in Roy’s bed and had once woken up to him s*xually abusing her.
The girl claimed that during a subsequent attack, she fainted and believed she would die, only remembering Roy’s hands supposedly around her neck.
She also added that she had previously irritated Roy by feeding a dog inside his home. He allegedly replied by hitting her and duct-taping her to a punching bag and reportedly threatened to kill her.
According to reports, he threatened to murder her if she alerted anybody about the abuse.
In another alleged incident, the girl stated Roy pulled her by the hair into a bathroom where the tub was filled with water after she refused to buy him cigarettes and beer.
He allegedly tried to drown her before throwing her down a flight of stairs.
On another occasion, he attempted to strangle her with headphones when she didn’t immediately switch off his Xbox.
According to authorities, the accusations were brought following a “lengthy investigation.” Roy will have a preliminary hearing on February 9 and is being held in Cumberland County Prison on a $200,000 bond.
