Seneca Middle School teacher was fired after the parents complained about the inappropriate activity.

The Sachem School District revealed on Wednesday that a substitute teacher at Long Island middle school was fired after conducting an inappropriate activity during an anatomy lesson.

According to the letter provided to parents by Schools Superintendent Christopher Pellettieri, a substitute teacher for the Sachem Central School District was fired after teaching an inappropriate lesson in anatomy class.

The revelation was made by Pellettieri, who said that inappropriate activity occurred during the sessions in three different 7th-grade classes on Tuesday at Seneca Middle School.

Parents believe the activity’s goal was to encourage children to talk openly about private body parts in science class.

Parents claim that students voiced discomfort but were told to participate in the activity regardless.

Dr. Christopher J. Pellettieri, the Sachem Central School District superintendent, stated to News 12, ‘An inappropriate activity was utilized in three separate classes yesterday. This individual will not return to the classroom and will no longer be an employee of the district.’

The name of the teacher was not revealed in the statement. The School district officials did not comment beyond the statement.
