The tragic news of Kyle Sambrook’s death and that of his loyal companion, Beagle Bane, has left many people in shock. The events leading up to their deaths unfolded on February 19, 2023, when the two went missing in the Scottish Highlands.

After three days of investigation, the authorities discovered their lifeless bodies in a gorge above the Fionn Chleann in the Glencoe area. The discovery was made by mountain rescue teams and HM Coastguard around 2:00 pm on February 25.

The Scotland police, upon finding their bodies, released a statement saying that no suspicious circumstances were discovered in relation to their deaths. 

Kyle Sambrook, a resident of West Yorkshire, arrived in the Highlands on February 18 at around 3:30 pm. His intention was to hike, camp, and climb Buachaille Etive Mor before returning home.

Brian Bathurst, the Deputy team leader of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, believes that Kyle was carrying his dog, Bane, in one hand before falling from a height of 100 feet after attempting to climb a mountain in Scotland. At the time of his death, Kyle was 33 years old.

Kyle Sambrook was a garden landscaper from West Yorkshire who had made the journey to Scotland to fulfill his passion for outdoor activities.

His plans included climbing the 3,351 feet Buachaille Etive Mòr with his faithful dog, Bane. The rescue team discovered Kyle’s car in a lay-by in the mountains, confirming that he had indeed set out to fulfill his planned activities.

The loss of Kyle and Bane has left many people saddened and wondering how such an unfortunate tragedy could occur.
