Takeoff was born June 18, 1994, and was most well-known for his membership in the hip-hop group Migos along with Quavo, his uncle, and Offset, his first cousin once removed.

In 2017, they signed with Motown and Capitol Records and released “Culture II,” which once again reached the top of the charts.
